Round 5

Barros charges right in and whips Caballero with a left hook that snaps his head to the side. Caballero is sitting down on his punches more trying to get respect. Barros is still grabbing and mauling him, throwing uppercuts into that long body on the inside. Left hook to the body by Barros. Caballero tries to shove him away and jab him into obedience but can't keep him at his preferred range. Barros is too insistent with his rough and wild pressure. Forearms to the body and cracking overhands by Barros. Caballero looks to whip him right back with his hardest stuff as Barros looks to confuse him by grabbing. Caballero is PISSED. Caballero unloads by Barros is able to weather the storm and then put his right arm around Caballero's neck and pull down on him, cutting him down to size and wailing away at his head. Nice shots by Barros on the inside.

Round 6

Barros looks like he's getting better and better conditioned and sharper as the rounds bear on. He shifts his weight from lead to rear foot and eagerly darts in to menace Caballero with a hatchet triple jab and a hard right hand to count the fourth beat. Caballero is just winging long right uppercuts to try and catch Barros on the way in. Barros is grabbing and shoving, rough and dirty but making life hell for Caballero as he swings down with his right arm like an axe. Left hook inside by Barros, flush on the chin! Caballero tries to straighten himself up and drive down with a right hand onto the face of Barros. Caballero doesn't have space to operate. Barros stumbles and both his gloves sweep the canvas as he steadies himself. Ruled a slip. They come together and Caballero lands a left hook to the face as Barros grabs him.

Right, because we're all in the room with you and able to realistically answer that question.

 

Well, good for you. He won the first two rounds clearly for me, and has been put into panic mode ever since.

 

Round 7

Barros is curling that left arm around Caballero's midsection and hammering with the right. Caballero tries to whip him with body shots in the clinches but isn't getting his jabs off on the outside to keep his range. Barros is just walking through his attempts at uppercuts and mauling. Neither is landing very cleanly. Barros now pecks with jabs to the body while ducking under Caballero's arms. They get into a circling pattern on the outside and Caballero settles in with his jab but Barros charges in and nails him with a right to the jaw! Rough clinch. Left hooks to the body by Barros. Caballero answers back with his own whips to the body. Barros' are harder. They separate. 1-2 by Caballero. They trade shots. Caballero misses wild uppercuts. MORE AFTER THE BELL CHIPPINESS!!
