He is ranked 1089, but is unbeaten having won his only fight on points.

However there are fighters above him with no victories and a mega amount of defeats. Hor Vardanian is the highest ranked fighter with no victories with his only fight as a KO defeat. He is ranked at 852.

Can someone explain the mathmatical formula how 2 fighters with only 1 fight each have the fighter who was stopped 147 places ahead of the fighter who won on points?

The point I making is that we moan about the subjective and dodgy rankings of the alphabet boys, but when you have a mathmatical formula you get absurd anomolies like this.

Both only fought 1 fight each, and the opponents were making their debuts as well. Both opponents are not rated at all.

He seems to have just been added to the database, his points total probably still needs to be updated. We'll see if he's still last tomorrow.

Anyway, you're probably better off asking about boxrec ratings on that forum rather than here.

Here's the formula boxrec uses for it's ratings btw: http://boxrec.com/media/index.php/BoxRec_Ratings_Description .

He is at n°769 in the world.

The real undisputed worst heavy in the world is still 0 - 21(18) - 1 Stefan Kusnier, though the draw he got in his last fight shows his form is improving dangerously, and he risks losing his place soon to the aptly named Perfecto Gonzalez, who boasts an impressive 0-20(15)-0 record.

Ah, going through the tomato cans records at boxrec I ran into this guy: http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=390362&cat=boxer . I somehow get the feeling that Raymond Ochieng doesn't like him much.
