Guys, train hard and eat all you want and gain 15-25 lbs of muscle for a few months. Then train 6 weeks to lose that 15-25 lbs you gained, and then try doing the same work out that you were used to doing when you gained the weight. Roy did this at 34 years of age...a time when all fighters start to slow down. In their first fight, Jones was easily out boxing Tarver. Then Jones runs out of gas and survives on guts alone. In the rematch against Tarver, Roy looked like he was a weight class smaller than Tarver. He took Tarver's punch in fight 1, and couldn't in fight two. Johnson doesn't even hit that hard, and yet he damn near put Roys lights completely out with a shot to the side of the head. Don't tell me it wasn't the weight. They said Roy had a glass jaw...lol. You mean he hid his chin for 13 years before he finally got caught clean?

What does losing WT. have to do with getting hit on the button?

So did he lose Wt. For the Tarver fight aswell?
    he got KTFO, bottom line.

So does this apply to Pac? I mean you guys blamed Pac's losses on weight. Jones gets ktfo because he got caught huh? This is what happens when a PAc fan sticks his foot in his own mouth lol...

I remember reading some place before he took the Ruiz fight that Jones Sr. advised Jr to not move up to Heavy and that if he did, it would ruin him. I guess he should have listened to his dad.

To me, johnson's a fight jones should look to take if he truly wants to fight for something (as he claims) rather than just cherry picking a couple of fights. johnson is now 40 or so and, tho still dangerious, if rjj cannot be competitive and or beat johnson at this stage than further fights are truly pointless
