wtf the difference is overeem's natural weight is a heavyweight he has a shaky chin but even with that shaky chin he would still knock jones the **** out especially considering that jones got rocked by machida.

I think a better comparison would be a pic of Jones when he's not dried out on the scale though

I know Overeem is a natural heavy. But you DO NOT get that type of musculature just from training and eating your vitamins. Believe that and i got 20 bridges to sell you.

even then he still isnt even close to what overeem has in his arsenal i dont even ****ing like overeem but to say jones would beat overeem is ludacris its like comparing a ****ing chimp to a ****ing silver back gorilla.

BTW junior dos santos knocks both of them out in the first round.

Jones got rocked by Machida? Looked more like people trying to find weaknesses in Jones' armour to me, it was a competitive round, that's all.

Agreed. Machida countered him in the middle of throwing a kick, yet Jones managed to stay on his feet. Considering that Machida dropped Evans and Silva with one punch counters when they had their feet planted, I'd hardly say that it was any sort of knock on Jones' chin.

I don't either, but Jones is just entering his mid-20s not his mid-30s. He's probably not even in his prime yet. There's no reason for him to rush into fighting the top guys at HW right this instant. IMO he should spend at least 2-3 at LHW developing his game and physique for a move up. Given Dana's recent comments about building Jones up as a star, I don't think that he's going to have much choice in the matter in the near future.

If Jones moved up in a few years, and during his additional weight training developed an Overeemesque physique would that be down to PEDS, or Jones body structure?

Because as far as I can tell Overeem was a lanky LHW with a similar muscle structure to Jones. I seriously think Jones will look similar to Overeem does now when he's 30.

He did get rocked IMO, however thats no knock on Jones' chin in the slightest, especially when you consider Jones was on one leg when the counter landed, and he still managed to regain his balance, and arguably win the round.
