Jones calls out Wlad Klichko

    Jones, Hanshaw postfight presser!

    Murad Muhammad started off the post fight press conference with a call of "He's back, and The Gulf is back!" Muhammad was pleased with the announced attendance of over 9,000 fans.

    Anthony Hanshaw was short and sweet when he arrived at the podium. He praised Jones but had disagreed with the judging. "I thought I won the fight, I applied more pressure. Roy might have won 2 or 3 rounds. I eat, sleep and dream boxing. I will be back on top."

    On the other hand, Roy Jones, Jr was not at a loss for words calling out Glen Johnson, Antonio Tarver, Felix "Tito" Trinidad and even Wladimir Klitschko.

    --what the hell? this guy just won last night via UD and he's calling out Wlad Klitschko??!:rofl

    roy really needs to lay off the fantasies :lol:

    Thats a wide range from tito Trinidad to Wladimir Klitschko. Obviously he is not serious about Klitschko but the bettrer question is, why is he still calling out Tarver?

    yea, his last one against hopkins was ****ed up. but you think roy will beat tarver again?

    roy thinks he will beat tarver because he already beat a young boxer and he's super hyped-up about it.

    i can be wrong tho. maybe he's serious about it

    I remember when he was on HBO commentating Brewster - Klitschko I, he said something like Wlad shouldn't get near him with a glass jaw like that. Hilarious stuff. The Wlad that lost to Brewster would have knocked him silly that night. :yep

    Milk Dud actually looks mroe shot now than Roid. maybe thats the fight for him. Anyone thats actually elite in 2007 will KO RJJ again.

    If Jones is calling out Klitschko for real, he's delusional. Wlad would massacre him inside a round. Better bets for Jones are rematches with Johnson or Tarver. At least those are winnable fights.

    Its sad in a way if you really think about it roy still see's himself as that great fighter who peaked against ruiz ,not as the guy we see who is badly on the decline and setting himself up for an injury.Its also sad that he only realizes now as his time is running out that he should have called out the more elite fighters when he was primed.if he had done that then his legacy woudnt even be in question he would just be seen as afighter on the decline instead of a questioned one because he took less dangerous fights.

    Roy is just talking out of his ass. He's trying to start some hype. I doubt he'd ever get in the ring with Wladimir.

    Wlad would KO him with a jab.
