Manny Steward just said that Jones may have a decent fight with Calzaghe. It could happe, but I think most will agree that Calzaghe is too busy and simply too good right now.

But how about Hopkins? He has a lazy, ugly style, so I could see Jones outpointing him. Jones' big weakness is his chin and that is a non-factor against Hopkins.

For the past few years another Hopkins vs. Jones bout has been always seen as a Hopkins win. I think the Jones of tonight is a much better fighter than the one two or three years ago.

Roy Jones UD 7-5. His style is much more pleasing and he still has too much agility and for a static guy like Hopkins.

Hopkins/jones is probably a bigger fight in America than Calzaghe against either. I wouldnt be surprise if jones and hopkins fought each and left calzaghe out.

Um, don't you realize these guys need Calzaghe now!!!!!! The moneys not in the US. You think Nard v. Roy could sell as many tickets in the US as Calzaghe v. Kessler? Answer no freaking way!!

no, but as far as pay per view, jones vs. hopkins would outsell anything calzaghe could do, and i'm betting HBO would pay more money for it. thus, it would make more money, no matter how many brits come to see calzaghe. calzaghe still needs a fight with someone like hopkins or jones. he'll make more fighting either one of those guys than he did fighting kessler.

No. jones can't beat calzaghe, but i think he could steal a decision from hops if he's a little faster starter than he was tonight. Jones would've stopped tito tonight if he was busier in the early rounds, but jones showed the ol' roy will never be back. Against calz the best roy would do is lose a 116-112 decision. the worst is he doesn't make it out of the 6th round, because he didn't get going until then tonight.
