Just read an interview where Jones stated that before the Green fight ,his team had rejected Danny Green's hand wraps because their was too much gauze .5 layers to be exact ..Then he states that if he did not he fight He would be disqualified .

If thats the case what is the normal amount of guaze that can be placed around a fighters hand ? I heard 2-3 layers max ..

And if this is somehow an issue who else is using this amount of guaze on their hands ??

Alot of fighters make excuses for losing, it's a coping mechanism, they lie to themselves so they can step into the ring again. How else could you get the nerve to step back in after being KO'ed so many times.

    Excuses excuses

Green landed a shot right up above the ear. It was NOT a rabbit punch. RJJ ducked down and got caught

He just wont admit to getting stopped in the 1st round by a B level fighter

It wasnt directed at you. I just remember a bunch of RJJ fans kept screaming rabbit punch after the fight.

Then the replay came out and it was....

Jones getting caught a punch and getting KOed

I called a green KO before it happened it knew that the haters would follow any excuse and even make there own up to add false validity
to RJJ getting stuffed by an aussie fighter with 3 losses at a weight he had no business at. Green had that glen johnson style toughness and pressure with even more dynamite in his gloves, and he caught a past it jones. Problem is MJ, is that hardly any forum members on here know **** all about boxing to see it and rely on bias and nationism to to fuel their remarks. There was nothing controversial about green stopping jones. Hell even brother nazim told hopkins that the ornelas fight was the only one he needed to worry about because there wouldn't be a jones fight. Richardson called this before the green/jones bout in Oz. Interesting

3 should be all that is allowed. That's all i used in my smokers. otherwise
when you sweat the gauze and tape can harden significantly even without
the "plaster of paris" scenario. 3 layers is plenty in the protection of a boxers hands, and any more is just excessive and dangerous.
