I can understand why he's upset about it. rules are rules and they are there for a reason. Even if it isn't the reason he lost, it's still not fair. I find that hand-wrapping really does effect the way you punch.
Now I dont know if I think Jones is lying on this considering this was a rare big fight in Australia and they wanted there boy to win at any cost I bet. However unless something was inside the gauze I dont care how many layers where there considering its very soft. According to Roy before his hands where wrapped to much almost like a cast which is different then to many layers of gauze.
Sir, I was talking about when green fought at 168 in the past. My point was to illustate that i beleive he is a better fighter now than when he campaigned at suppermiddle.
My apologies. As for Green being a better fighter now than he was at super middle - well we'll only find out when he starts fighting some live bodies. I'll give him credit for his wins over Lucas (@ 168lb) & Drews (@175lbs); but i'll refuse to acknowledge his IBO 'cruiser' reign.
Dam that sure is allot of guaze ..Not sure how the hell this much was allowed ..Last time I saw wraps like that were on Tito ..But then again not sure he put 5 layers of it ..
