i don't know about that...i have noticed that some people on this forum enjoy trying to belittle other posters for their personal enjoyment.

I don't have to tell you what this forums original intent is. I enjoy reading your posts...they're always good natured and humorous. I wish every poster had good hearted intentions. Unfortunately, some don't.

It's a shame that i actually think you're right. With the internet reaching everyone in the world, you would think it would be the other way around...if you have a chance to affect someones life in a good way, even via internet, wouldn't you rather choose to do that?

Roy should be careful. Chad Dawson has been fighting senior citizens lately. Roy, stay away from Chad. We do not need to see you embarrased again. Of course, there is nothing much worse than seeing RJJ getting humiliated and slapped silly for 12 rounds. This is bad. Sheika is a Calzaghe left-over from years ago!

 

Man, i would still love to see Hopkins/Jones II.

I know I'm in the minority, but at this stage in both fighters' careers, I think it would be a lot more competitive than most think.

 

Here you go showing genius knowledge again. At this stage of their careers? Let's think here Link. Roy Jones has been shot to hell for years. Bernard Hopkins is the #3 ranked fighter in the world. I guess you equate this being competitive because of age?atsch

First of all, Jones isn't as shot as everyone thinks. RJ's achilles heel is his inability to deal with high volume, pressure fighters. Tarver landed one good shot...that fight is an exception.

B-hop is not a high volume fighter, never has been and never will be. Also, old man popkins feasts off of fighters that fight off of the jab...he uses it as his range finder. This is what makes him so brilliant. His opponents think to use the jab as a range finder for him, he uses it against his opponents. Wherever the jab is, he isn't. He has tremendous head movement and very good footwork.

He will always have trouble with a fighter that uses a lead straight right or lead straight left hand if he fights a southpaw. This is something that Roy excels at...throwing the lead straight right hand with speed. This is why Roy beat him the first time.

I know Roy isn't nearly as fast as he once was, so i wouldn't pick him as the favorite in this fight. But, surprising to most, it wouldn't be that one sided of a fight.

Ya'll mustuve fogot a man named "Tarver" who is in the running with Roy Sr. as RJJ's father.

 

I've been a big fan of Roy's since he was robbed in the Olympics,however,he's shot and shouldn't be fighting anymore.He's going to get hurt.
