He had guys watching Green. The Commission didn't want to rewrap Green's hands and was going to DQ Jones if he didn't fight. Interesting stuff.

Plz no rematch. Everyone in their right mind knows a Prime Roy Jones embarrasses Danny Green. He's nothing to prove. Hope Roy can put in one last great fight vs Hopkins and can take the W and retire. That would be a perfect ending to his career.

Sounds like an excuse to me, but maybe it's valid. I just can't get myself to believe that.

Roy is a clown for those hand wrap allegations he is throwing out there.

So basically he's rematching Hopkins then he's gonna fight Green in a rematch. On top of that he said he still plans to rematch Glen Johnson before he retires.

How much longer before Vinny Pazienza shows up?

The sad part is if you replaced Paz with Dariusz, I'd still watch. Shamed as I am to admit it.

That's a little different though. That's THE 175 lb dream match from the 2000 era

For some reason I had a sick dream that I was walking into MSG to see Roy Jones Jr vs Hector Camacho at a 166 lb catch weight. I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to make that fight

:rofl What makes it so funny is I can't even say I'd rule it out 100% with the way things have gone down.

I don't believe this handwrap excuse. You can't get disqualified and a loss on your record without entering the ring. If those handwraps were illegal he should have refused to fight. Roy Jones Jr doesn't do anything he doesn't want to and that includes fighting someone he deems is going to use illegal handwraps.

we shall see his performance against hopkins
it will probably the final nail to the coffin cause if he does win he will think he's still the man of 10 years ago

Correct. He needs his ****ing head examined, he also needs to retire before he becomes a laughing stock.

there is no issue with the hand wrap business beyond roy himself. he is just looking for a scape-goat, so he doesn't have to admit he simply lost to the better man.

i'd like to see a rematch and watch him get ko'd again, lol. bloody sook.
