Jones is clearly shot, everyone said so when the fight got made, just the media hyped it up that he wasn't, and all of the Calzaghe fans bought it. Calzaghe hasn't declined much at all, he cant stop people anymore due to his hands, but thats it, some people decline quicker than others. Jones declined alot due to coming down in weight, and that would **** you up alot and is hard to recover from, he also relies on pure athleticism, which also declines alot as you get older. Calzaghe is just a stamina machine, and was always going to beat Roy, 90% of people said this when the fight got made. Joe proved nothing tonight, and the showboating was disrespectful, fair play if he did a few bolo punches or whatever, but the way he was doing it seemed to have malice. In his prime Jones would have KO'd him. Last night was an exibition fight, and I'm still pissed off I waited till 5am to watch it.

Do you people take joy in your incomprehensible stupidity? I've never seen such a lack of mental capacity in so many people.

Get over it. RJJ is as shot as a 1990's version of Gerry Cooney.

Thats because he can nolonger move out of the way and his speed and punch out put is no-longer happening . Roy has not been Rjj in like 5 years now.

yes only Jones is old, only Jones declines as he gets older, calzaghe is still a raring teenager, and moving up divisions only affects Jones not calzaghe, and home support only helps Calzaghe, and calzaghe is prime and Jones isn;t.... you lot slay me with your frivolous malcious drivel.

So Toney was a terrible opponent ?

You act as if a prime Jones would just hang around and be man handled by Joe's pucnhes ? Have you actually watched any of Jones fights at light heavy outs side of his last 5 ?

I said nothing about moving up in weight. 3 years is alot in sport, as the decline is dramatic. Calzaghe hasn't declined much at all, he was at his peak when he beat Kessler and that was a year ago. Jones has been on a rapid decline for 4/5 years.

Toney, the cheating bum who struggles against terrible heavyweights? he had one decent fight and got lucky against Nunn, big time lucky too.

He was also taylor made for Jones, Jones is tailor made for Calzaghe, but then anyone who steps in the ring with Calzaghe is tailor made for the more adapatable slick speedster with the biggest heart in boxing.

calzaghe is a top 5 atg, fact if he was American.

No, peopel assumed he was at his peak against Kessler, because they took notice of his thrashing of lacy, had they watched him for years, everyone would have seen a younger, power punching faster Calzaghe that would gobble people up, even with broken hands on some occasions.

Jones was as good last night as he has been for a long time, he was better than any times he lost he was clearly hungry and more motivated than ever, Calzaghe was just the better man. They say theres one great fight left in a great fighter, and last night Jones had it, unfortunately for him, it was aaginst one of the best ever who was only 70% shot of his peak.

It's about opinion and ours don't agree, I get your point but I don't agree with it, Jones looked half decent for the first round. As a Calzaghe fan what did you make of his showboat?

10 world Champions and you have probably only watched him fight 4 of them in recent years, not forgetting a prime Jones wanted to fight Bus men and yard workers instead of calzaghe in his prime, Hopkins backed down, Johnson backed out, and Toney ate himself away from Calzaghe, who else was there?
