I thought it took teh soul from Jones, he's never been in against a man that could do that to him, and avoid his punches like that, it gave him the psychological edge, and the first round, Jones was trying the same to Calzaghe, I thought it was great, and deserved for what Jones did to essentially amateur fighters in his career. Calzaghe stamped his mark on Jones in every shape possible, I was a little worried him pushing his face out, he was going to get caught eventually, but he didnt and it added to the spectacle and excitement, even when he got tagged the dancing bit joe did was amusing, and you could see again, it got to Jones.
I dont think James Toneys addiction to Burger King means he ducked Joe. Jones didn't need Joe. Joe cancelled on Johnson I thought?
Jones never went as far as Joe did last night though? Unless he did it in some of the fights I haven't seen of him. Fair play if Jones was a top contender still, like SRL v Duran II, but it just made Joe look like a *****, when he generally goes for the nice guy image.
Jones didn't need Joe? but he needed the lollipop man down teh street? he should have taken on all champions. You thought wrong, he postponed the fight due to severe injury, and Johnson got angry and instead of rearranging the fight like people do, he cancelled it and fought someone else who i believe he may have lost too?
His famour knockout with his hands behind his back was pretty humiliating, against what I think was a part time police man? was that called for when he could have showed teh guy some dignity and respect, at least Joe did it to a legend, and a guy that started it off against him.
