    Age as a number should never be used as a standard to decide who is truly the "older" fighter.:yep

    jones is bing given a chance is stupid, a while ago a lot of people agreed that joe c would beat up an old faded roy jones and now suddenly after the BHOP fight everyone thinks roys going to do a number on joe and beat him up and im sorry i would love to see this but it will not happen
    i love roy but his FADED style is perfect for joe c
    remember i said faded because his style at this point of his life is only half as good as it used to be shot reflexes, workrate these two factors are going to cost him BIG

    If that's aimed at me, which I assume it is, then you are sadly mistaken. I am a bigger fan of Jones and would absolutely love it, if he could pull off the upset. I may be British, but every part of me will be cheering Jones on, come fight night.

    I hate how this is the usual response, by the way. Instead of actually reading my opinion and taking the time to construct an argument, people tend to try and sicredit the person they disagree with.

    Calzaghe has to be given credit for taking on Kessler in his prime- Kessler is no joke. Kess was the best at 168 and Joe took care of him and moved up. Andy yes, Jones taking care of a close to prime Hops and Toney- can't deny that greatness, speed kills but today, have you watched 24/7, Jones is full of himself and delusional...

    Pretty much everything he said was reasonable.

    Although I don't think Calzaghe will end up like Hopkins, still competing at such a high level at over 40.

    They're both well past it but Roy is much further past it than Joe.....I think we can all agree on that? To give Roy zero chance would be ludicrous though. I think Joe could be in for a torrid time....for the first six rounds anyway.

    Jones has had two brutal knock outs. he fought Tito who was coming back and wasnt able to perform. Calzaghe is active. he will beat the **** out of Jones and that is the way it will go. similar to Calzaghe/Lacy. i will enjoy it very much.
