Jones and he wins how he pleases. On points or by KO.It would be a mismatch.

I'm glad to see you're not letting your education get in the way of your ignorance.

Your post history is like the waves of the sea. It makes me sick!

you know what? I'd slap you senseless ... but I can't spare three seconds!

calzaghe ud, jones may have more power but calzaghe had lightening hand speed as well and imo is a better technical boxer than him

Pretty much. Jones has all the notable advantages in this matchup prime for prime.

Will try to be a little realistic on this one. I think Jones wins but not by murder. Though I think that mostly would come from Jones himself. It would have been a reverse of their actual fight in the sense that RJJ would have been completely too fast for Joe to handle. However I think after winning the first few rounds and knowing that Calzaghe had the potential to punch Roy woulda been content to ride his speed to a UD instead of going in for the kill.

there is a reason jones and hopkins ducked calzaghe during his prime, thats because they stood no chance

prime roy jones had laser beams coming out of his eyes, bionic fingers and the ability to make himself invisible at the drop of a hat...

i mean come on guys the guy defeated admiral james toney and colonel john ruiz in fact id rate RJ's prime alongside the battle of waterloo and rorke's drift!

Not a RJJ fan, but.....did you ever actually watch him fight in his prime? He was ridiculously fast......made JC look very slow in comparison.

No doubt about it. I've watched every single round of every single Calzaghe fight - every four rounder, every regional bum, every struggle with mediocre opposition - he would get annihilated. But there sure are a lot of ESB kids who ignore his boxing career and obviously just want to suck his **** ..

i think jones wuld be too swift and precise fo clazahge to handle. he wouldnt stand in from of calzaghe enough for calzaghe to use quantity over wuality on him
