    not much glory in ko'ing a old roy jones,,it took him 10 rounds to do it too..roy would have ko'ed this guy within a few rounds 10 years ago.

    Yeah, I regretted watching that. Sucks to see Roy like this. I had to youtube a Roy highlight after this just to feel right.

    I did'nt see the fight, but over at the scene, Smoger explains that Jones was playing possum and acting hurt throughout the fight.
    Jones had actually played possum the round previous.
    So when Jones was stunned and hurt from that shot, Smoger thought Jones was playing possum again.

    Not that I'm a fan of Smoger, but it seems like a satisfactory explanation from Smoger, as I myself have seen Jones play possum just as Smoger describes.

    When you play possum the way Jones does, that can make it very difficult on a ref to know when he's really hurt.

    He's been getting KOed brutally like this since the Glen Johnson fight. Green also said that as he was finishing Roy off he was making somekind of odd snorting noises.

    Jones has to have accumulated a lot of unecessary brain damage at this point. He'll probably suffer from it later in life and if he doesn't retire soon he'll end up paying that price sooner rather than later with his life.
