I won't ever forget prime Roy Jones Jr. Maybe the best P4P fighter in the history of the sport. Watching him was like watching ****ing magic.

Great demonstration of athleticism. His lateral movement (footwork) is just too good. At the moment his opponent races to catch up Jones lands his big bombs.

Without a doubt the closet thing to MJ in a boxing ring ..To watch him just break all the rules from a fundimental stand point while also making his opponents look average was a thing of beauty ..

I'd never claim Roy Jones was the greatest of all time but he could certainly do things that no one else could. The combination of his hand speed and showmanship made him one of the most watchable fighters in my time watching boxing.

I've always drawn a distinction between being the greatest and being the best. "Greatness" a reflection of your accomplishments and impact on the sport you're playing. Hopkins is, IMO, greater than Roy. But being the best is simply your ability at your best to beat up everybody else in P4P.

To me, Roy at his best is P4P the best fighter in history.

although worded wrong i don't think its too much to laugh at.....his accomplishments don't compare to his talent. i feel more than comfortable saying that jones jr. is arguably the greatest talent in boxing history
