Honestly I see Roy Jones Jr (in his prime) as the favorite over any fighter in history from 160 pounds to 175. Top reflexes, incredible speed and perfect timing have made the Pensacola fighter the perfect fighter for years in my opinion. Surely a high level pressure fighter like Beterbiev would have been a very difficult opponent for all the best but I think Roy would have managed to not get overwhelmed by Beterbiev's continuous attack and land clean shots to win the most rounds. So I say Roy Jones clear winner on points

He could very well do what Calzaghe did to Lacy.

Beterbiev doesn't have the speed/footwork to consistently close the distance on Roy and whilst timing is everything, doing all the right things work until Roy spins off, catches you coming in with a check hook and is out of range and then hits you with a lead right just as you're adjusting your feet.

This thing of throwing prime Roy in with any hitter and then thinking glass jaw Roy is going to mean he loses doesn't work. Right up to and including the Ruiz fight, of course he took shots, clean shots, rolled shots, glancing shots but he was caught and held up fine.

Beterbiev will always be of threat but Roy could either coast and drop a few rounds or have a bone to pick and stop him late.
