I know Jones is old, but yet he's still active, and has a fight coming up for a title. Lets say Jones win his fight, and Kovalev defeats Ward. Would a match between Kovalev vs Jones jr be worth making? At a catch weight that's comfortable for both fighters. The win for Kovalev wouldn't do much, other than adding another legend to his resume, but a win for Jones would do wonders for him considering his age.
Kovalev would have had to catch his chin first, and not get caught trying to do so. Roy had some pop on his punches lets not forget.
