    Where do you rank Roy now on an all-time list, and where will he go if he beats the undefeated Calzaghe?

    Top 10-15 ATG, this fight honestly honestly wouldn't mean that much anymore, it would have meant alot more in 03 or 04.

    it will definitely elevate jones because no-one gives him a shot - but then again that is why joe is fighting him now and didnt when it mattered.

    the term "undefeated" can be like 'world champion' in boxing.

    it can be very misleading.

    He's top 30 for me now. Maybe he could move up to top 25, but he's about as high on my list as he's gonna get.

    If he wins it really does nothing for his legacy imo, it's more of a reminder how good he was at his peak.

    Really? Before 03-04 ... it was before Joe fought Lacy and Kessler,
    it means Joe was completely unknown in US and the fight would
    make completely no sense for Jones who just fought Ruiz.
    In 03-04 the best fight for Jones was still Michalczewski.

    If he beats Calzaghe, he should demand a rematch with Glen Johnson. This way he can leave the sport on top, having beaten every man he ever faced. Top 10 ATG.
