Knocking out Tarver would be a realistic perfect ending to Jones' career. Tarver would have to be favored, but he's probably even more shot than Roy is right now and in a year or so, who knows.. maybe Jones could do it. It would be so ****ing great to see it happen.

I like it how posts by "It Was Written" and "Cormega" follow eachother. Nas is the best.

I think Jones and Tarver think that even if their great trilogy was just as good Vazquez-Marquez, the only way to make it absolutely sure that we'll remember their great rivalry better than some little guys slapping each other somewhere south of their waist line is the 4th and greatest fight! :D

There aren't a lot of fights out there for Roy - if there was - he would have something in the mix right now. He looked good against an over-matched Tito and he seems to have his swagger back. If he doesn't get the winner of the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight - then he should go ahead an retire - or fight Glen Johnson. There's not much out there left for him.

I think this is outrageous for Jones. He has until 5 p.m. Friday with Hopkins-Calzaghe being decided in the next day? Terrible situation and unpleasant move from the IBF Commission. Jones will probably look for the winner of tomorrow's match no matter who comes out on top.

i would rather have him fight haye for the cruiserweight throne:yep

just kidding, winner of joe cal/hopkins is the best choice imo nothing else. People wouldn't buy another fight with tarver

I think Roy would like to humilate Tarver though.

  11. I concur with BigBone, a 4th needs to happen!! The reason I say this is Jones was mentally shot in their 3rd fight + it was too soon; this fight needs to happen :)

P.S. I'm not saying Roy is better but I do want to see a 4th, I'm inquisitive.

I say y not. If he can t beat tarve and get that belt from him he would surely get a shot at clazaghe then, or glen johnson or even bhop.
jus agree 2 agree, after 2morrow change your mind lol
