My memory has faded a bit, did Tarver call Roy out at the Ruiz post fight press conference. I remember Roy saying he was going to whip Tarvers butt for the Marriott emblem on the podium. I think Tarver was very disrespectful, and I was hoping Roy would knock him out, instead RJ came in drained, but I still had him winning 8-4. I wish Roy would've retired after the Ruiz fight or Tarver I. Roy had nothing else to prove and should have never fought Tarver.
can't really remember but the Tarver win is a good win. Tarver is a pretty good fighter. Even after Jones got knocked out by both Tarver and Johnson he still faced Tarver again, u gotta respect him for that. Even though Jones wasn't the same anymore and gunshy.
