Still a few weeks away but the 1st big fight of the new calendar year.

    Who's excited?!?

Trinidad has more of a punchers' chance than he did against Hopkins or Wright. And Roy seems to be back to his usual self, and is looking to entertain. :smoke:rasta

Not actually a fight Im that interested in, but I expect Roy to win, I think hell be to big and strong for Tito, but then again, Tito could seriously test his chinny chin chin

Am I the only one who is not overly fussed about this fight? A win for either fighter will hardly change the landscape of boxing. Trinidad is semi retired anyway, this is more of an intriguing side show than a box office, headline fight.

I'm excited, Roy wins it by late TKO or UD. :happy

Although this fight is not important in terms of the bigger picture.

I am really excited to see one final performance and knock out victory from Roy before he retires.

No, I think you would find many fans here not too interested in this fight. It might not hold much revelance as it would have a few years ago. But yea...I love big fights and these are two big names, two big personalities. At MSG nonetheless. The atmosphere should be electric.

not many are excited. Trinidad is there for the paycheck and Jones is there for future paychecks. Jones has to knock Trinidad out to get more money from future fights.

I just want to see if Roy continues down the slope he's been on but I dunno. Tito's whole retirement thing and his loss to Wright and B-Hop shows how he could lose. And Jones KO losses to Tarver and Johnson cast doubt on his chin. The bout itself isn't relevant rankings wise but has some interest to see which one of these guys can still win i guess.

Congratulations, I think you have just found the weakest argument on the forum.
