I know all people are going to pick RJJ, but I thought Roy looked weak at 160 compared to 168.

Something may crack, and yes.. its a chin

I'm going to go with Hearns by stoppage ... the more I see Hearns the more I think that he was the true definition of p4p ... he could match Roy with speed and boxing ability ... Roy couldn't out work Hearns as well ... it would be tough for Jones.

Jones isn't as defensive minded as people think --

Close decision, by I think Jones would probably take it by a round or two

Roy used to fight a lot off the ropes, and I think that would be suicide against Hearns. Tommy was pretty good at cutting off the ring against fleet footed opponents (just ask Sugar Ray) so if Jones moved around Hearns would have gotten Roy on the ropes anyway. The bull**** that Jones would pull against lesser opponents (like putting both hands behind his back with his back to the ropes) wouldn't have worked against The Hit Man. Roy was faster than anyone ever, and tended to get careless, because he could get away with it. Maybe not so with the very rangy Hearns who was pretty quick himself and could nail somone at long range.

    Hearns.

Roy wasn't the Roy we all remember when he was at 160.

Anything north of 160 Roy wins.

    Jones KO.

This is Roy's last fight at 160 against a guy who lost to Julian Jackson, but went 12. :yep

To much speed an power together is bound to end soon as Roy was bound to take it for granted to boot. It was freakish an looked to unreal such a pattern will tell.:hi:

Roy's chin is not even questionable at this weight, he was never hurt untill 10 years later and 2 weight classes north.:deal
