Jones v Hopkins II

  1. The fight RJ-HOPS won't be Marketable after Cali puts a whuppin on the old fart, if they do fight again it's a 50-50 toss up:smoke **** RJ would be 40, and Hops 44 by the time they get in the ring, so id go with Roy..

RJJ didn't want to b-Hop in 2002 but now that he has slowed he is all for it. RJJ was the one saying he wasn't getting the money way he should but they were offered about 26 million to split for the second. He made about 10 million for Ruiz. RJJ is a greedy fraud who was living off his creampuffs of Hill,Woods,Kelly, the only noteworthy opponent was R. Johnson.

  4. Bottom line ie Roy clearly whipped Hops in their prime so he calls the shots, for a rematch, and Roy took on Ruiz in 03 a much more dangerous fight than Hops would have been:deal and Hops lost most of his barganing power after he lost twice to Jermain Taylor, and i am glad Hops is taking on Cali a way more dangerous opponent than Roy..

I know your a B-Hop fan but u cant b serious with this assessment man, when RJ asked 4 60/40 B-Hop was essentially a no1 man. Furthermore RJ granting him a 50/50 split is ridiculous.

You beat me in a fight, later down the road I become MW champ, you already did that, won a title a SMW youa re the undisputed LHW champion. I wanna challenge you for your belts now, or at a cathweight even, why should I get an even split with u?
I lost to you already, you are the bigger star. C'mon man, RJ was just in asking for 60/40

Wow... Roy beat Bernard Hopkins and James Toney, to me THAT is amazing in itself.

  8. Yea and he beat both of them easily:deal Hops was a little more tougher but not much:lol:
And he did it within 18 months, he didn't have a reason to rematch them later because the fight's wern't even competitive..:hi: :hat

I don't see Joe fighting Roy. JC is going to retire if he either wins or loses to an old B-HOP...impressive.

The only way this fight gets made is if both fighters are garunteed over 10 mil their egos are the biggest obstacle !!
