Tarver has recently moved up to heavyweight and Roy Jones has claimed he wants to fight british heavyweight world champion david haye.....however both would need to prove something at that weight. Roy Jones is still a big name and troubled hopkins in their rematch ( forget about the wide scores, i had it a lot closer ) and a fourth fight might reel in some viewers, who wins at this stage?

It was a complete shutout by Hopkins on RJJ, there is no way that fight could be interpreted otherwise. You just can't win by not throwing punches and refusing to engage at any stage except the last round.

As for the query, if RJJ moves up then you can almost put a lock in for those two to go at it. No significance, but it would still reasonably sell.

If that happens, both should be fined $1,000,000 for even suggesting such a fight!

What are they going to bill fight four as? Day of the Geriatrics?

There would be more credibility for either guy if either fighter featured in Strictly Come Dancing!

We would see more action that way than if they fought again!

    Its daft, plain stupid!

They both need to move on to other things. At this point Toney will will via ud shutout as Roy will refuse to engage in fear of getting koed.

    I'd watch that, good idea!
(Then secretly all of Jones biggest wins would have revenged their "L's")

For some reason I was reading the title as Toney vs Jones, not Tarver. But with Tarver result will be the same as their 3rd fight. RJJ was a special fighter, but after his heavyweight title win he should have walked away to his chickens.

I had Hopkins-Jones 116-112 Hopkins. Not a complete shutout. They both looked like sh@t.

I'd prefer Roy to just retire. Each time he fights you inevitably think, "What if?", then you see the fight and realize yet again that he cannot pull the trigger and really hasn't been able to since Tarver starched him. He's gunshy and older... which is a terrible combination.

Any logical Jones fan would want to see this fight because they know Jones is past prime but would love to see him redeem himself against Tarver all the same.

**** that! The threads should have Toney Vs. Jones II
Give James a chance to avenge his loss & help people forget his MMA fiasco.
