JC would last 12, Roy never stopped an Elite fighter.

    No.

    I would pick Jones.

    But it wouldn't be easy.

Nothing easy. I take Jones Jr, maybe a 116-114 but would not be surprised if a prime Joe was able to rattle Jones Jr.

Would be his hardest fight, harder than Toney.

It didnt take long for the Jones fans to start this poll did it:hey

Jones on points in a very close fight.

Anyone who says Calzaghe gets blown away isnt a true boxing fan.

Oh and is Jones on or off steroids for this fight:think

Jones by stoppage in a competitive fight, Calzaghe's pride and stubbornness would be his undoing.

Wait Roy didn't win 4 rounds today? So how have you come to that conclusion, considering you don't differentiate the current version of Roy from the 90's version? Oh thats right, your a moron.

Realising that Jones Jr even now, is probably still 80-90% of what he was back in the day and that Calzaghe is probably only 80-90% of what he was (The guy used to be a savage puncher, he put Eubank down with one shot!) - and how dominant Joe was in this performance, despite taking some of the Jones Jr shots, can we really say it's a guaranteed result?

Please remember that there is no constant link between age and prime in the sport of boxing. Please remember that physical prime is by no means a direct indicator of a fighter's peak in terms of head to head ability, especially in the case of a smart adaptable fighter like Calzaghe. Also remember that when Jones was at his best, Calzaghe was still fighting guys with as many losses as wins.
