Jones vs Sonnen, or scrap the entire card. Which would you have preferred?

WTF? So any farce they tell him to take he has to do? He would have fought Machida, but Machida didn't want it (can't blame him). We don't know what he'd have said if Silva had gotten to White before it was canceled. But really, a guy who has done **** at 205 and just got chased out of 185 is supposed to be fine just because it's an easy fight? I think not taking the easy paycheck and screwing the fans out of a decent fight in the not too distant future says a lot more positive things about him as a champ than negative. People get way too wrapped up in the **** Dana White spouts on TUF about "do ya wanna be a fighter or not blah blah posturing".

 

Forget that. Dan Henderson can't fight. So scrap the card. I don't need Dana talkin his noise, Sonnen's act, or other fighters posting tweets about how the rent is due. Don't look at Jon, look at Dana White. But they won't do that because he's the boss and don't want to get on his bad side. Everybody that was supposed to fight, could've fought if they had a good card. Main Event fighter gets hurt, the co-main gets bumped up and the show goes on...

 

I can't blame Jones. I would have loved to see Jones vs. Sonnen but he had no good reason to take that fight other than pressure.

I blame Dana and the boys at Zuffa for putting all their eggs in one basket.

 

Its a pretty straight forward choice

No one ever wants to see a card scrapped so close to the event

 

Would be funny if Jones got subbed by Sonnen. The Sherdoggers would friggin hate that.
