Jones was knocked down by an ILLEGAL PUNCH! (with GIFs)

Clowns...Jones turned away from the punch! His own damn fault.

 

If you give the back of your head to your opponent in the midst of you throwing a punch, its not an illegal blow even if it lands.

The shot by Green was a straight shot and nothing close to how some fighters who fight by illegal means, arc there shots and shoot around and to the back of the head of a fighter with his body faced toward you and holding his hands in front of his face.

Clearly in this case Jones is not facing and giving his left side to Green, turns his head because he does'nt want to get hit in the face......
.....thats a legit blow. Defend yourself at all times.:deal

 

Btw, was that shot the end of the fight......I heard the ref stopped it.....

Was that even the shot that put Jones on ***** street?

For all we know, Jones could have already been in serious trouble and ready to be stopped even before the shot in that gif landed.

......anyone see the whole fight and can elaborate?

 

Why is it that Yanks can`t accept that Jones lost to a better man? No illegal punches,the dead **** was hit clean. Now maybe Jones will show some respect, he`s not superman after all.

divac.. He took an 8 count from that punch,Green then swarmed all over him. In the referees opinion Jones then took too much punishment without offering anything back,he was ****ed.
Others on here may see it differently but that`s how it was. End of.

 

Doesn't look in the least bit illegal to me, but I really don't care. Hopefully this will finally make Jones retire for good, which is what he should have done after the Glen Johnson fight.

Getting KO'd by a journeyman is one thing, but when you get KO'd by an Australian it's definately time to hang them up permanently

your right bigbone.............and boxing/mma fan what he means is that danny is not to blame and should not have tried to stop his blow but the referee should have stopped and warned danny giving roy time to get his marbles from the illegal blow and then when he was ready to box again let them go...this is what would have happened if it was an illegal low blow so same applies. oh and you wear head gear whilst sparring so this blow is less significant because of the padding.
