androstenedione is not an anabolic steroid Its a banned substance, yeah, but definitely not an anabolic steroid Conclusion: RJJ was not on the "juice" /thread
Roy Jones admitted to taking a substance containing ANDRO which was is an anabolic steroid and banned by the IBF.. End of story..
Quoting Jones' legal press release that states Hall was also found with Andro in his system? Andro is a banned substance and a steroid, Roy admitted this.. I don't know why Roy's legal team would lie for Hall as well.
It is also my opinion that the majority of top boxers over the past 30 or 40 years have taken some kind of PED at least once in their career.
Andro is an anabolic steriod common knowledge. It just wasn't completely banned at the time, you could purchase it in stores.
basically, in any other sport Jones would be stripped of all titles and let to rot. But in boxing it seems OK. Mosley, Jones, Toney, Holyfield - as far as I am concerned, everything they ever did in the sport has a big shadow hanging over it. I know fan boys will hate but you if you want the sport to be clean it has to be zero tollerence.
Do you think they are the only ones?? How many fighters from the past that you rate as ATGs have taken some sort of PED in their career, and were never tested or caught?? The whole sport has a steroid shadow hanging over it... The fighters that have been caught are just a scrape on the surface.
true, but by heavily punishing the ones who are caught you make the deterent to stop boxers using it in future.
That's funny. That's not what the IBF says . . . This content is protected So far we have Indiana's boxing commissioner AND the IBF saying he failed a test for steroids. What sources are you using that know more than the IBF and the head of boxing in the state where the fight was held?
