    She's not as bad as she used to be. I nearly put her on my ignore list at one point; now she's just wrong about a few things.

    Dan-b always makes these dumb sarcastic personal attacks on me to make up for the fact his life is so fundamentally depressing - it's really quiet sad actually. Unquestionably he's either in education still or has a McJob;. I'd be very impressed if this guy had any kind of meaningful career tbh he's just too personally bitter to be content in life.

    See this is a fair response. Everyone has their views and I respect them as I hope they would mine - this is not a personal attack unlike Dan's postings.

    Once before I, justifiably, made a comment on a similar thread of yours. You responded with a remark about my masturbation routine.

    It's a little ironic you're attacking my perceived lack of social outlet when it's you who makes glib remarks on an Internet forum, expecting respect for doing so.

    What do you do for a living then? Please indulge us with the details of your own flourishing, fulfilling career and extensive social life.

    The problem is, Sarah, you just make an outlandish statement with very little justification. It's that kind of thing that leads me to believe you're attention seeking and, perhaps, trolling. Look at your title, it just screams "look at me!".

    The content was pretty dire also, "Jones would dominate him". What possible rationale could you offer that would support that claim?

    Then be better than me Dan, don't throw insults. Rise above it. Why we've we've had no correpondence in weeks (months) would you jump in a thread make a personal attack only to parry it away with past incidents when I raise the fact you're throwing insults around like it justifies anything? Regardless I certinaly don't recall throwing the first stone - maybe you're a little hardsh with your responses sometimes and don't see what you're saying? Maybe you talk to your friends in a derogatory way & it's just the way you come across I don't know.

    Anyway for the record I am a Systems Adinistrator at a University in the South East of England. I work hard own my own house, 4 bedrooms two bathrooms a 70 foot garden with a full sized bar at the end.
    I look forwards to the weekends when I go riding on my motorbike or indulging in some junk food whilst watching my favourite poison - boxing/ufc.

    Other than that I work, go for light drinks with my friends and socialize in a respectful manner with each & every one of them - they always know I am someone they can chat to & rely on for help.

    I have views & opinion on boxing but you won't find me making personal attacks unless one is made on me first.

    There you go - Sarah in a nutshell.

    Goddamnit, this is the problem with this forum; dumbass posts like this. Jones is a ****in joke and a has been. I don't give a **** that he can beat up on other washed up fighters. Jones just got his ass handed to him by a guy that barely scraped by Hopkins. Jones also went the distance with a badly faded Trinidad that Hopkins destroyed when he was in his prime. Let's also not forget that Jones was brutally knocked out by two guys that Hopkins demolished. Roy can't hold Hopkins' jockstap at this point and would be very fortunate if the living legend were nice enough to let that pathetic, washed up, pirate dressing, has been share the ring with him. Oh, and be sure that Hopkins would completely trash "Captain Hook" if they were to fight right now.

    The reason I commented is because it was a stupid thread made without justification. Read the other comments in the thread. You speak as if we have some extensive history when, infact, I've only commented on one of your other threads.

    Unless, of course, you're an alias?

    Bull****. Roy cant handle anyone with Hopkins' caliber anymore.
    Jones gets a huge beating from BHop at this stage and he knows it.

    I'd like to see the based on styles ..

    Lets not act like a Jones win is impossible ..Before Fraizer fought Ali for a thrid time he was considered a walk in the park for Ali since he had been previously Ko ed by Foreman .

    Hopkins is the perfect opponent for Jones and the only one that would force him to fight on based on egos ..I'd like to see the fight I would give the edge to Bhop since he's been the more consistant fighter lately but you can't completly dismiss Jones ..

    I'm really not an Alias; I promise. But how about we just bury the hatchet and stop the personal remarks? Undoubtedly there's many things we won't agree on but lets get heated and irate over our respective differences of views and nothing else after all this is a forum a place where we argue but as I say lets remove the personal side of things - what do you say? :good:good


    On the match up I just feel Hopkins is sliding and Jones has the work rate to take advantage of that.

    Hopkins can't pressure Roy like Johnson/Calzaghe did and Hopkins doesn't have the stamina (or power maybe) that Tarver had when Tarver fought Roy to counter him to a points victory.

    Finally Roy is very good with the flurries on the outside & I can't see Hopkins dominating him with toe to toe like he did Pavlik Roy simply is a far far superior boxer to Kelly technically.

    For these reasons I give Roy the edge. I'm not saying he'd dominate but now I'd give him the probable nod.

    It's weird - 8 years ago Roy wins. 2-3 years ago Hopkins wins. today I feel Roy would win. It's like it's come full circle.

    I think it would be a very competitive decision either way. Stylistically, this fight will be boring. Two counter punchers with low work rates at 40+ years old. I don't think Hopkins dominates RJ. Based on their styles, i don't see it.
