Oh, no, actually Lim vs. Juntarasuk happened - quite an entertaining spectacle while it lasted...you can read about it on page 1, and watch it at the 1hr 7minute mark of the no-longer-live feed. It was ZGZ vs. Capuloy, the other co-main that should've been last on the card, that either didn't happen or we're getting deprived of viewing. In fairness, those boys are both top 200 on BoxRec.

He's damned lucky I'm a fair and balanced guy, because every fiber of my being wants to permaban him for insulting the greatness of Usyk.:sisi1 I have no respect for cheap hustle, nor for his balls and lack of brains to think he could slip on past us. So for not only insulting Usyk's greatness, but insulting our intelligence on top of that. That would be a hard NO!:deal:

Can you imagine for a moment that Jim Watt or Teddy Atlas was doing the color commentary on this fight card???? Hearing them trying to pronounce the fighters names ???? It would be hilarious a real commentators nightmare.

Zhi Gang Zhang vs. Rhonvex Lugay Capuloy update, at last!

Neither the BoxRec nor Tapology event page has been updated since Friday, but searching for ZGZ's name (in Chinese; 张治刚) turned up this article:

For those awaiting news of the inaugural WBC Far East Gold super featherweight titlist...you're going to have to keep waiting. :sisi1 Quite anticlimactically, two days later, we discover that it was a technical draw.

Because the Filipino boxer unintentionally fouled Zhang Zhigang with a headbutt in the 4th round, which caused Zhang Zhigang's eye corner to crack and his right eye to bleed, affecting his vision. Both missed the chance to win the WBC Far East Gold championship.

In the first round, Zhang Zhigang took the initiative and fought proactively, while his opponent Capuloy was mainly testing, wanting to feel Zhang Zhigang’s strength and condition; in the second round, Filipino boxer Capuloy started to attack, and Zhang Zhigang was not to be outdone; in the third round, the two started They exchanged punches at close range, and the fight was fierce. In the fourth round, Zhang Zhigang used his feet to move and regain control of the rhythm of the game. Unexpectedly, he encountered the opponent's "iron head skill", which caused Zhang Zhigang's eye corners to crack. Zhang Zhigang quickly signaled the referee, and the medical supervisor on the field gave him an emergency bandage. Zhang Zhigang continued to compete despite his injury; after seeing Zhang Zhigang's injury and bleeding, Filipino boxer Capuloy aimed at the wound and attacked fiercely. Zhang Zhigang withstood the attack tenaciously, and in the fifth round Push your opponent into a corner and deliver a combo. Unexpectedly, in the sixth round, the two accidentally collided with their heads again. At this time, Zhang Zhigang's right eye was seriously injured and bleeding, affecting his vision. On the advice of the medical referee, the on-field referee Yushi Fukuchi stopped the game. Since the opponent fouled first, Zhang Zhigang was unable to continue the match. Therefore, according to WBC rules, the referee counted the scores of a total of 6 rounds and declared the result of the match as a technical draw.

"Iron Head Skill" is a heck of a phrase.

It looks like he hasn't logged in since Friday, so he missed the rollercoaster ride. (I saw the addendum in the Mayer-Jonas RBR) :sisi1
