Here we go again. I have not said anything disrespectful on this matter, I have sympathised with Jonjo and have hoped his recovery is speedy and full. My comments were based around the fact that there is obviously nothing in place to help boxers in this tragic position. I stand by what I said and won't be made to feel guilty, nor be told that my purpose on this forum is to gain a reaction from other posters. If that was the case, I'd have said something awful, which I haven't. I have tried to refrain from turning this thread into an argument and that hasn't been allowed because of idiots like brown bomber and Lilo. This is a forum and I have the right to my opinion, within reason, of course!

As a boxing fan, I contribute to boxers' purses and don't watch the sport to see people hospitalised!

To Jonjo's brother, Frank; please read my posts on this thread carefully instead of skimming over the top of them. Some of what I have said must hit home. I am sorry that it has been taken out of context and I have questioned why the fundraising is necessary.

In my opinion, the BBBofC and promoters should be supporting Jonjo and his family, without question! I can sleep at night, I don't arrange or lisence fights for people who clearly shouldn't be fighting at a certain level! That is what is ****ed up!

I sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, hope that everything goes amazingly well with Jonjo's recovery. You can be sure I will phone you for an update if I don't hear anything on any of the sites. You can also be sure that I will be lobbying the BBBofC to get some insurance in place.

    Thank you

OK then BronxBull666, to give you the benefit of the doubt, let's ignore all your Lounge posts. Let's say you were joking or it was banter etc.

    Please answer me these questions:

"I have not said anything disrepectful on this matter" and "I'd've said something awful"; Do you honestly believe that none of the quotes in bold (above) are awful or disrespectful.

What makes you think I'm an idiot? Can you not see that your insensitive, socially inept and frankly inappropriate posts in this thread alone seem to be written by a troll.

You say your words are "taken out of context". What exactly do you mean by this? The entire context is here in this thread. There was the thread starter and you replied, nothing has been edited so what are you talking about?

    1. I did apologise for my original comment and stated that in hindsight i shouldn't have written it on this thread.

    2. By taken out of context I mean the way my comment has been assessed by some people that I am directly attacking Jonjo and the fundraising, when in fact I was questioning the circumstance of Jonjo's injuries and the actual necessity of
fundraising, in sheer disbelief of the fact that someone in Jonjo's position should need fundraising, when the boxing authorities, promoters, and Jonjo himself aren't covered for this type of tragedy!

    3. My lounge posts are absolutely irrelevant.

    4. I did not troll or attack the thread starter.

    5. You know absolutely nothing about me or my social activities, this is an Internet discussion forum, I'd suggest that a huge number of posts are inappropriate, but writing something that is genuine and honest should be what a forum is all about.

    6. You are an idiot because you and those attacking me on this thread are actually trolling and detracting from what the thread is actually about. Nothing I have said is insensitive and you know it.

    7. Sorry I'm not dumb enough to see everything as black and white. How dare I not be understood by a faction of you people?

    8. I've said it's tragic, I do sympathise and you and your cyber trolling friends have hijacked this thread and made it about me. You are a disgrace to Internet humanity!

Lets draw a line under this bickering the fact remains that Jonjo is seriously ill in hospital and his family has bills to pay simple as that so Bronx Bull if you dont want to donate thats fair enough and its no problem just move on and let everybody make up their own mind as to whether they wish to donate
and lets get back to the real issue which is genuine concern for Jonjo and his family

Course theres insurance in place, it's the British Boxing Board of Control ffs not some shity unlicenced stuff (God knows what will happen if something similar occurs on a non Board show, I can have a wild guess though). Insurance doesn't pay out just like that, the insurers will need to assess what long term situation might be.

I think what Brox said has been taken out of context.

Lets all move on, like others have said most important thing is Jonjo gets better.
