Carabajal is pretty solid. I wouldn't be shocked if she causes Taylor some major problems. Let's be honest...Katie lost more than once and got a robbery on the cards. And Serrano was beating her too before she gassed and stopped punching mid rounds. Carabajal is super rangy, tall and moves well. Don't expect a close fight on the cards but in the ring...maybe. I could potentially see Carabajal hurting Taylor too. I doubt many people watched tape on her anyway. Carabajal is definitely a good opponent.

 

He could. Martinez arguably beat Zelfa Barrett at 130. Gill also is drained at 126 and got lucky against Guerfi when down on the cards. I think Gill will do enough to win on points though for sure.

 

Cully wins by 1st round stoppage.

 

Belmehdi bum-rushing into his doom was pure comedy.


Uh, Smellie Scatney. This 'equity' nonsense is all so tiresome.

 

Surprised it took him that long. Belmehdi looked to be on the verge of a cardiac arrest from sheer terror before the fight. Can't remember seeing a worse case of nerves.

 

Make Cully vs Fierro next

 

He's very good, I see him making it to world level with relative ease. The left straight is very accurate and powerful.

 

He knew what he was in for clearly and his worst fears came to fruition in no time.

 

Kiko beating Gill would be an upset. According to oddsmakers, at least.

I agree with those who think Gill could be in for another rough night, though, and I'd expect Kiko to finish the job if he can get him in similarly dire straits as he was in with Guerfi before he pulled it out of the fire.

He saved his skin, but luck had nothing to do with it, unless you mean the kind a man makes for himself.

 

In boxing, a bum is a guy who habitually turns up to get paid without any belief he can win. Guys misuse the term all the time.

If Gill was a bum, he never would have thrown/landed that punch against the tide. He's got a sure ceiling, yes, but he comes to win.
