When Gill started to put shots together Barrett definitely looked slightly uncomfortable, still Barrett is dangerous with his counters when Gill comes in.

Crazy how Gill only has 9 KOs, his punches clearly have some thump

Gill is looking very confident marching Barrett down here. Honestly a totally new level of fighter now.

    Round 1 Gill 10-9
    Round 2 Gill 10-9

Zelfa still trying to get his jab o track, but Gill's output, pressure and speed is an issue for him. Gill ducking down slipping Zelfa's right, and looping in left hooks. Floating in and out of range landing one twos. Zelfa goes to the body. Zelfa goes for an uppercut and misses, commentators give him credit for it. Gill responds with a left. Zelfa with a decent right.

20-18 Gill; Barrett landed a nice right hand toward the end of the round, but Gill's pressure won out for me

He said he's focused a lot more on throwing with intent during his comeback after the Conlan fight. The effects are evident.

Gill's boxing looks like raw at first sight, but once you look at it closer it is way more elaborated than it looks like. It's a pity that there is not a bit more of power in his punches. And it's a pity he has t-rex arms too. He is a very very smart guy, I love the way he fights. God ****ed him hard when He gave him those t-rex arms and those pillow fists.

Just goes to show that the old saying of punchers being born is not entirely true and while there is a genetic cap on how hard someone can punch you can still improve drastically if you work on it.

    R1 - Gil
    R2 - Zelfa.
R3 - Zelfa. Popped Gil with the best punch of the fight so far which wobbled him.

    Round 1 Gill 10-9
    Round 2 Gill 10-9
    Round 3 Gill 10-9

Gill still confidently marching him down, planting heavy rights into his midsection. Following it up with one twos over the top. Gill's head movement is quite nice here. Zelfa lands heavy right to the cheek, stuns Gill, but he recovers well. Gill undeterred, still coming forward, cracking him with lefts. Gill goes southpaw, lands a few hooks.
