My wife bought me the Jordan Showboxers boxing shoes for Christmas from Title Boxing. The third eyelet down on the left book snapped out of place. I called title boxing up, they are sending me some new ones, and I don't have to send the old ones back. I used some of this glue that we have on the Army base I am stationed on, and now the base of the eyelet is stronger then ever. I am looking to see these boots if anyone is interested for $60USD. If anyone is interested let me know, they are black on black and size 11. Also I am up for some trades too.
a broken third eyelet for sixty bucks? i have some "lightly" used asics that are four years old if you wanna trade.
I fixed the eyelet, used this industrial strength super glue, good as new. I used the boots one time before it broke, and one time after I fixed it. Not really looking for boots before I still have the new pair of Showboxers, and also have a pair of rival boots. I would sell the new pair of show boxers for $100USD plus shipping and keep the pair with the eyelet
That is not a bad deal for the new pair. Unfortunately, they are too small for me. Are those the Jordans that come way up the calf? I had a pair of Jordans a few years ago. They were just too heavy for me. The up side is that they give you a bit of extra height.
I didn't notice the height advantage, since I only wore them once which was monday. They are the pair to comes up to like the middle of the shin. Juan Diaz wore them against Nate Campbell. They must be the Roy Jones signature shoes, because on the bottom shoe they have his title accomplishments. Another thing I notice you are from North Carolina, I was assigned down in Ft. Bragg for like 10 months.
Fayettville is a ways from me. I live on Lake Norman in a town called Cornelius. It's a suburb of Charlotte. I moved here from Vegas in 2005. If you get down this way we have a great boxing gym with lots of good sparring from 140-175.
Well the golden gloves are at the end of March, and VA/NC do them together, so I probably will be down there at some point I will let you know bro.
