I think I started a thread on this one a couple of years ago but didn't get much feedback.
IMO this one could be a real treat. One of those where I'd love to have been ringside with a couple of dogs & beers watching this one play out.
Both had their strong points and both had their weaknesses.
    IMO a really hard call.
Let's try to ignore the many Yaqui 'wars' he was in and let's try to ignore the relatively few major bouts that Jorge was afforded.
Impressive resumes from both great LH's.
    What do you think?

Ahumada pulls out a close one, was robbed against Foster.

Lopez had amazing heart and was a tough dangerous for but Ahumada was skilled had power and defense. I like Jorge by a UD with a few exciting moments of a fight where J.A. is in control

The Jorge drew with Foster and who lost a fierce encounter with the young Conteh would grind it out against Lopez i feel, Alvaro would be his usual tough handful but would favour Jorge to edge home in a thrilling encounter, Jorge pushed Galindez closest in their final encounter..a sign of his improvement.

Have to agree with the rest here in that Jorge's largely unappreciated skills would win a fairly clear decision over Lopez.
