Round 1 Arce is meeting Santos in the middle of the ring, both leaving a slight respectful gab. They swap jabs, Arce leaning forward a bit to extend his past Santos'. Arce is hooking the body a bit from outside. Santos circles and lowers the drawbridge with his jab while Arce lunges up with his, not fully committing, both just feeling each other out. 10-9 Arce

Santos is pinned on the ropes where Arce works him over with big hefty left hooks nearly doubling him over sideways. Santos is able to escape out the side door and hop across the ring before Arce pounds him into a corner with more body hooks. Time out. Gum shield? Time in. Arce is landing right hands up on the eye socket of Santos and hooking at the body from outside, getting the maximum use of his relatively stubby arms, nearly jerking them out of alignment with the force and momentum of his blows. Santos gets in a good chopping right counter but is backpedaling fast. 10-9 Arce 20-18 Arce
Round 3 Arce bolts out from his corner with a BIG right bolo on the frontal lobe, sending Santos flying backward onto the seat of his trunks! Round 4 Arce is throwing hard right hands over the top. Santos is covering up for dear life, falling back against the ropes and bobbing on them. Hard left hooks ripped by Arce. Last year it took Juan Manuel Lopez until the 5th to even score his first knockdown of Santos, who lasted until the 9th. Just saying. Oh and by the way - Arce vs. Lopez is next. :deal (I'm not kidding)
I think whatever happens in the Ponce De Leon rematch next week (even if JuanMa gets KTFO), they will still forge ahead with Arce vs. Lopez regardless. They have been planning it since last year, with the plan being for it to happen around now (Arce vs. Santos was originally scheduled for last November but postponed) It makes perfect sense. Both shot, but still exciting...both still chasing glory & paydays and probably better off with each other as means toward such an end than getting beaten up by fresh titlists or real contenders. Plus it's Mexico vs. Puerto Rico again. :deal
While watching I thought heard something about Arce being considered for a Gary Russel Jr. Fight next possible for that vacant strap Salido left. (Could be wrong cause I was half watching half trolling on the forums)
