How great is this fight? I've heard it is a war, but the full fight is not on youtube. I'm currently downloading a good quality version of it now. Any opinions on this war?
An instant classic. A bloody Arce shows terrific heart and pulls out the ko when he has to. Just a brilliant slug-fest that shows both guys at their best. Then, just as I was recovering from this fight, Morales and Pacquiao get into the ring for their first fight! What a night that was.
good fight they always put the event on ESPN i think Chavez jr was also an undercard but yea I dont know what was more exciting Morales V Pac or this fight.
This is the hidden classic that i always bring up in the best fights threads... Seems like not many people saw this fight but this was on the undercard of the first PAc/Morales fight and i thought this war stold the show.. It was better than the main event imo.. This fight has a special place in my heart because I remember watching it at a sports bar and I won alot of money because of Arce.. I made the bet with some Pinoys and i pretty much cleaned their asses out.. Hell yea.. This fight was a freakin war!!!! back and forth action with blood spilling everywhere.. This is what u call a bloobath.. Man Arce on that night was a primed fighter who wasn't going to take no for an answer.. This fight is a MUST have...
I am glad to have witnessed this fight. I remember it being better than Pac-Morales I. Beats it by a mile.
^ yea i know dude.. Everyone saying that PAc/Morales was the best but they're just talking out of their ass.. They probably didn't even watch the undercard... If I remember correct, Martin CAStillo fought on the card too and his fight was good also. But damnnn Arce/hussein was on another level.. Seriously I would put that fight under the same category as Chico/CAstillo and MArquez/Izzy.. It was that intense..
This was an awesome fight. From memory, Arce landed a massive punch on Hussein early (around round 3) and always seemed to have the upper hand after that - even when the fight was going back and forth - I think Arce had some real power in those hands in that fight. Credit to Hussy for making it a memorable fight! Hope you enjoy it when you finally get to see it!
