****ing relax man, I only saw Rojas fight once and he looked fantastic against Arce. Maybe it was his BEST night. I respect Arce, he's a tough and courageous guy but Rojas was flat out brutalizing him and he made Arce take the first exit he saw. I don't think Arce was coming back from that, he was going to get beat the **** up and I'm pretty sure Arce agrees with me.

I have a feeling this could be an even better fight than Arce vs. Vazquez was. :bbb

I don't think Arce/Vazquez was that good to begin with. But yeah its most def going to be better.

When the **** is this happening? Watch it not happen.

    Really? :huh

It wasn't one of the top FOTY or anything, but it was pretty good.

In fact, it followed more or less the exact same script as something that a lot of people tabbed as a FOTY contender (but IMO wasn't) and had better two-way action throughout: DeMarco vs. Linares. Vazquez and Linares were both outboxing their guy for most of the fight, but folded late under the pressure and got taken out of there. The difference to me is that Vazquez and Arce produced much better exchanges than DeMarco and Linares, who were honestly pretty boring and going through the motions until DeMarco came on strong at the very end.

ARce isn't going to rematch him.

So that's why he was more vehement than Rojas in calling for the immediate rematch?

Only way this happens is if Arce is offered a bigger name.

    What happened guys? LOL

As expected a rematch was NEVER going to happen and Arce just paying lip service to those who don't have an attention span longer then a few seconds.

Rojas even called him a coward to boot. Arce's warrior status must be dropped.

Your kidding the kid called him a coward and nothing?

In all honestly he didn't look like he wanted anything to do with the kid even in the post fight talk it looked like he just wanted to get out of dodge.

If this was 1984 Mexicans would be at his property now taking bullets from security while throwing bricks at Arces door demanding he fight Rojas immediately or suffer death via village stoning.

    Osejo for supper...Rojas for dessert.

(and then he'll be nicely fattened up like a Noel hog for Donaire or Nishioka...)

Were they banging down the door of their all-time #1 most beloved legend JCC (who, unlike Arce, actually quit) to rematch Grover Wiley? :think

How can you even make that sort of comparision.....did JCC rock a cowboy hat?!?

    Cowboy hat = John Wayne

If you don't wear a cowboy hat I would'nt expect you to portray the baddest man that ever lived, since Arce wears a cowboy hat he has certain standards to uphold. Get it, got it....good. :smoke
