Rojas hits harder, hits faster, and can take his power and doesn't go backward. That last fight Arce really couldn't handle Rojas's power at all. He was backing away, flenching at every body shot, and covering up without returning in the 1st. I think he is done and Rojas is going to send him out the hard way.
That was a flash knockdown, he jumped back up and proceded to beat the dog **** out of him. You know that IB.
For the first time since it went up, Arce is leading the poll. :think 31 people see him taking the rematch, as opposed to 29 for Rojas. 53 people (88%) think someone is getting stopped. :ko Of those, 27 think Arce will get the vengeful knockout while 26 think Rojas will "finish him". The 7 who see it going the distance are similarly split down the middle. Four for Arce, three for Rojas. There aren't even that many known outspoken Mexican/Puerto Rican nationalists among the respondents, so the results aren't even that badly skewed.
In light of that, @ the stupid ****** who said (in this or the other thread) that Arce and Rojas should have had their purses withheld.
Other thread. The one presuming guilt of shenanigans on Arce's part in the title/OP. atsch I'd say in R1 both men earned at least 100k a minute. :finger :deal
He is saying that people know he is not afraid of anyone, but that punch in the ear really hurt him, and that he even have a big bump behind his ear (and asks the reporter to touch it) then he is asked about a fight against Rigondeux, and he says he is not interested in that fight now, that he wants big $$ fights and that he is looking forward to fight Donaire or Mares, he says he respects Rigo and talks nice things about him, but also says that Rigo need to accomplish more before asking a five time champion for a fight. Finally he says that he wants the rematch, that he even could go to Rojas's backyard but at the end is what the promoter $ay$ In another interview he says that he probably have only a couple more fights, but that if can't get Donaire, Mares o Salido he will retire. IB if you need help with any other translation, just ask (I'm not as good as Bogotazo but I'm thankful for your RBR)
Thanks. :good So ideally: Rojas rematch, then Mares or Donaire, then (if successful) maybe a farewell fight against Rigondeaux assuming he's improved his resume in the meantime? :think
