I am considering getting his career set (40 odd of his fights, pretty much all of his title fights) and was wondering if anyone else had one or had seen plenty of his fights. I haven't seen to much but like what I see. I wanna have sets of smaller champions. What do people think of this set Thanks
If you like his style, by all means check him out, though i've always thought he was an overrated fighter of limited ability. He was better below superfly where he originally had a bit more versatility and was more physically formidable.even there though, he was typical of the so-so champions this last 10-15 years has largely saw at the weight and fought a lot of poor challengers, faded fighters(castro) and no hopers. again, he was fairly entertaining, so get the set if you want, but if you are really wanting to check out some lower weight greats i would advise spending money on a good number of others before getting around to him.
Give me more to work with. What decades and styles are you most interested in?.Does it need to be a substantial proper career set, or would you be quite happy with a fighter who has, say 5 to 10 fights or so available that you could get individually as well as all at once.
A mainly aggressive fighter were I can get the majority of there career. I have Lopez on dvd by the way and have seen plenty of Galaxy
I felt like helping.Typing out a long list of fighters i think were better and more worth watching than Jorge Arce wouldn't be particularly helpful would it. and while i'm in a helpful mood, don't get Arce on that totem
