Is Jorge still under the GBP banner?

If so I'd love to see Barrios vs Katsidis or Barrios against Rolando Reyes.

    Have no idea.

I doubt he is under any banner now but would get a fight based on his name.

Barrios vs David Diaz or Julio Diaz I'd like.

There was some talk about Barrios vs David Diaz if I remember correctly. That'd be a good fight.

I think Julio Diaz is cooked unfortunately and wouldn't do much for Barrios. Maybe what Barrios needs to do is take on an up and comer at 135 and upset them to get his career back on track. It would be risky but I bet it beats him sitting around and fighting no namers to keep himself afloat.

Yeah,Barrios were in talks to fight on july 11th in Argentina but I guess it fell threw.

Like you said Julio is closer to the end but so is the argie. And I remembered Julio is signed to fight somebody already.
Not to many 135 lbers coming yp he could fight really.IMO DeMarco would make him look old and shot.
Casamayor would be another good fight.

Well there's Antillon and one of the Peterson brothers.

And yeah Casa vs Barrios would probably be a lot of fun. Imagine the trash talk between those two.

All this makes me wanna do is see another lightweight lightning PPV.

    I think Lamont is 140.

Anyillon and Anthony might be too young for Barrios.

He needs this toon-up(or easier fight whatever) and then back with the big boys.

The homecooking in the Juarez fight was laughable but I hop he keeps Rudy as his trainer as he showed some decent skills there.

Perez is certainly a great trainer.

That said, He has a short lifespan left (Barrios) so perhaps he'll be limited in who he takes on.

This is a MASSIVE reach of course but perhaps MAB?

    He's gonna be a lightweight.

But this might be over 135.

He got a raw deal against Juarez that's for sure. The referee took two BS points from him, thus forcing him to take more chances. The end result was that gruesome cut on his lip and a loss. Barrios was winning that fight hands down. Between that fight and the victory Sergio Martinez had stolen from him against Cintron I'd say that the Argentinean fighters are safer fighting back home.

Plus he was gonna get robbed anyway as the judges had it ridicolously for Juarez.

One had him 96-92 up if I remember correctly.Prepasturous.

Rudy even told him after one round ''Go in there and fight him cuz you're fighting everybody here''.
