jorge linares could definitely beat gamboa

You know, normally i would disagree but you have a HUGE point.

I mean he got dropped by a solid hitter in Jimenez for keeping his hands low.

Now imagine Linares, who is a bigger hitter, landing flush on one of those moments.

You could very well see a TKO or quite possibley a KO.

 

both are still not yet in their primes

Linares is very good. Too bad he doesn't have half the exposure Gamboa has.

Gamboa would win. Linares is a skilled boxer with a good variety of punches, but he would have a harder time dealing with Gamboa's speed and pressure. He's not built to stay off and counter-punch. He's made to land his own shots in combination mid-ring, body head and the like. You guys are taking a flash KD was too seriously.

I disagree, Linares is a good boxer puncher but his to slow for Gamboa. Linares might catch Gamboa if he keeps his hands low and might even get a flash kd but Gamboa will still win. Gamboas to fast and better boxer.

 

I would love to see it.. Seriously.. I don't think a fight like this will happen though until a few years..

 

Gamboa hasn't totally convinced me yet unlike Linares.

 

Linares by brutal beating. This guy is so tough, he will walk through Gamboas flash and dash all night and punish him with crisps straight punching. Gamboa will look like a defenseless clown if this were ever to happen
