Jorge Linares finally fighting!

Linares is fighting a nobody for a vacant title depsite being inacitve for a year....

 

This setback could be costly. We'll have to see..

 

Linares is back after a whole year. Hes fighting a bum who was previously ko'd in the first round by Linares's stable mate Edwin Valero. Most people don't agree with Linares fighting someone nobody has heard of but he's been out of the ring for a long time and may be a little rusty.

 

and hes fighting a bum for a title in a division he hasnt fought before and after being inactive for one year.its ridiculous that some people will call this guy a two division champ.

Linares deserves a tuneup. Should it be for a title? of course not. But he does deserve a tuneup after a 1 year layoff.

 

I agree with you, it shouldnt be for a World Title.

 

Was there a reason for his inactivity?

Good to see Linares back in action.

 

Elbow injury, then a back injury, then a knee injury.

If he actually gets hurt training as much as his camp claims he does, he probably won't be able to last in boxing too long.
