I cannot speak for Rico but I have NEVER been KOed and I have been hit with everything from fists to knees to full 40 oz bottles with the latter being the only thing that ever really put me on ***** Street. The best fighter he ever beat was Byrd and the best fighter he faced was Sanders who Chinned him. Those are not the resume highlights of a living legend as so many of you claim him to be. In terms of resume, Byrd is the most accomplished opponent Wlad has beat. In terms of head to head abillity Haye is a lot better. Byrd was a blown up LHW/CW. Haye was a weight drained HW who skulked at cruiser until he assumed it was the right moment to move up.

Brewster is the best boxer to ever KO Wlad. Sanders is not very good. He is inferior to several opponents Wlad has Chinned himself.

 

Sanders was hit-and-miss. He was a halfway talented fighter when he took a bout seriously and was the biggest threat by far. That being said, calling any of these guys good HWs is ridiculous. This is a division with less talent than Marciano's era.

As for Haye, :roflatsch.

He is Glass Jawed Garbage and that fight was a farce all the way around. Haye did more physical damage than Wlad and made his supposedly ATG Jab look like a Joke as he stood stock-still in front of him and had him whiffing all night with simple head movement. He also illuminated Wlad's overrated power by taking one full-power right hand flush on his Glass Jaw without even being dropped.

 

It's not a very talented era. But Wlad has been around for a while. There have been some good contenders for him to KO, or in rare cases UD.

Now, now ...

Haye has nothing short of incredible reflexes and speed for a HW, which made it hard for Wlad to land clean with his power punches. Both men moved so fast not even their corners could fallow it.

Haye did land a meaty looping right in the 12th, but the short rights Wlad connected with was comparable.

Wlad struggled to land, and I doubt he loaded up with his shots as he usually does. I think it is safe to say Wlad can bang.
