just rewatched his last 2 fights and although the guy has not yet proven it against the elite IMO when given the chance he will do it. I rate Chris John extremely highly but I do believe that Linares would beat him. anyways enjoy: [S6]1618613[/S6]
yeah he's a great boxer to watch. so fast and very accurate. amazingly accurate hooks to the body. can't wait to see him again.
Yep, Linares is the Truth... and is it just me who's already pumped up heavily for the Linares-Gamboa fight? Guys, this could be the best matchup in amont of skills put together...
You rate Chris John extremely high and think Linares is the truth? What's your opinion of Guzman compared to these guys? Gamboa has been 5 times more impressive against C/D level competition than Linares has been against B/C competition.
p4p I find John and Linares are both better than Guzman. and imo Gamboa has not fought c/d opposition but rather e/f
Alright, there's no use of arguing with you then. Can you just list some reasons why these two B levels are better than Guzman?
I like Linares, I think he's going to be a future P4P fighter as well, but my concern is his power. He was hitting Larios with everything and it took him 10 rounds to finally knock him out. Vasquez might move up to featherweight if he defeats Marquez, if I were Linares I would stay away from Vasquez.
Linares would be all wrong for Vasquez because he fights so well off the backfoot, and Vasquez would have to come up in weight to face him.
He's a good fighter, but nothing like Guzman level, grow up guys. Guzman is amazing, this guy is just good and he's not a future P4P anything. Maybe top 15 if he's matched correctly. Guzman's opponents in Soto and Barrios would both KO Linares.
I like Linares. He's a solid young fighter, but he has a lot more to prove. He's young, so time is on his side. Fights against Guerrero, Luevano, John, and even Juarez are a must.
