At his best, Linares is poetry in motion.

Linares-Garcia for the lineal lightweight championship looks to be on the cards- and based on their last two performances it's now on the short list for bast match-up in boxing that can be made.

The 8th and 9th were closer, when Linares was too confident and pressed too much and got hit with a few, but no judges Crolla didn't actually win them.

You know it's a schooling when the home cooking only gets you 2 rounds, but fair play to Crolla's toughness.

Quality performance from Linares, and quality scorecards, too.

Gun to my head, I say Garcia...But a Linares victory wouldn't shock me at all based on the way he performed tonight.

Linares is very skilled, and that's close to a 50/50 fight in my eyes. I slightly favor Mikey to win.

Linares looked good tonight against the right opponent but he does not have the chin and speed to handle Garcia

Linares v Garcia needs to happen. When it does, I expect Linares to look good initially, before Mikey's power catches up with him. Garcia won't get stopped early and he's clearly skilled enough to get his shots off, so I think Linares' weaknesses (chin and stamina) will be his undoing.

He'll look great until he loses though.

Beautiful boxer. The Garcia fight needs to be made asap. I can't pick against a guy with skills like that. He has the talent to stay out of harms way for 12 rounds but Mikey is a class above as well and that makes it one of the best fights to be made in the sport.

Praise to Crolla too. No shame at all in going to distance with a guy like Linares.
