Well, technically today now. Not much footage to be found of Sanchez. Here he is destroying Francisco Dianzo's with a left hook to the body. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewZGBep2ouk There's also a few minutes of him going against the undefeated Dante Jordan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r1bBbfN3kfk Seems like typical, scrappy brawler with a small bit of skill. I'm not sure if I trust Linares against anyone who can effectively pressure him anymore. He has some of the worst skin in the game. Just an awful combination to have when you're somewhat easy to touch and have a decent chin at best.
Here's footage of Sanchez's last fight, a stoppage loss against Miguel Berchelt http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xtey74_2012-09-07-miguel-berchelt-vs-berman-sanchez_sport
I definitely had too many beers celebrating the Gonzalez KO to set my alarm for a few hours from now to catch this. :!: :yep
Its becoming so trendy to move up in weight, I just can't feel bad for those fighters who just throw away all their advantages to chase a short term $ fight atsch Linares at 5'8" had thin bones, delicate built. He was already maxed out at 126 lbs & he should have stayed there. Same with Mares he is a Bantam, only very few styles work well with roiding up. If you want to roid up in weight, you need to understand roids will not help you, don't believe the Pac Haters :yep . Roids will only get you extra meat that will be a burden on your heart and organs, Pac is an exception because of his style that involves alot of jumping around allowing him to put the muscles to use, Asians naturally have thick legs, so the extra gains (About 100% muscle gain in Pacman) went mostly to his lower body which he uses alot in all his fights and training. If you are a boxer who depends on classic punching you have to stay with your best weight...Or just move up to make good KO video clips for someone else to add to his credentials...who cares evolution at its best... Only great legends like Chris John who stay in their best weight remain Undefeated
Linares beat Sanchez by TKO3. Even more impressively, 2012 Olympic gold medalist Ryoto Murata beat the reigning Pacific middleweight champion and former Japanese light middleweight champion Akio Shibata by TKO2...in his pro debut! If Lomachenko weren't scheduled to jump in the deep end with Jonathan Oquendo, I would say that is the most impressive first opponent anyone has fought in quite some time.
Inoue claimed the Japanese Light Flyweight title in fight #4 beating the #3 ranked (WBA) Light Flyweight Taguchi.
Also I don't think the Linares fight was televised. My erm...TV...was acting up so I turned off after Murata.
I wish Linares just had that final tangible that he's lacking as of now. I honestly don't think we'll ever see him win a significant fight again. Hell, did he ever win one to begin with? :huh
:conf The biggest names he beat were Chavez and Juarez but they were both on the slide... Gamaliel Diaz went on to eventually grab a belt after losing to Linares... But no, truly significant (up to his promise's standards), no.
