Linares would school this fool. The smart thing to do for Deleon is ask for a unification match against Molitor or Caballero, the winner of that pretty much gets a gurantee to fight the winner of Izzy/Marquez 3.
I saw DPdL's fight on the Hatton Mayweather undercard, and for me, was totally outboxed, I nearly fell over when the score of 118-110 was read out in his favour! Molitor would school him from first bell to last.
That would be a great fight. Very interesting match-up and I like that the Japan-based Linares is fighting in the US.
Hope its made--Linares is a very very good prospect and should go a long way----given the exposure he can become a household name overnight.:smoke
Hopefully this fight actually gets made. I would pick Linares over Ponce De Leon, but it will be very interesting to see what happens if one of PDL's bombs lands on Linares' chin.
Linares will expose this crude/one dimensional fighter in De Leon. Jorge Linares is future P4P fighter.
