I doubt this materialises to be honest. Murray will fight someone like Rees next. I'm sure of it.

It's all down to who he signs with. If it's Warren, I'll agree with you.

he has a good jab and moves well around the ring. but he throws many pitter patter shots and if his skills were so great why has he been pushed to narrow decisions by gatekeeper fighters?, i havent watched the larios fight maybe i can see some of that textbook boxing you were talking about

Have you seen him box the ears off Rocky Juarez?

That was no narrow decision and Juarez - while having lost a step and having always been a bit limited in the first place - is no gatekeeper.

Is he not? That's exactly what he is if you ask me. Also he is no lightweight. He is a featherweight.

I really don't think Murray even has the power to trouble those shakey whiskers of Mr Linares. You only have to watch him murdering Buckland and that Ukranian they brought over to realize his single punch power is not world class and he heavily relies on accumulation at this level. At world level I would deduce that he probably will not be stopping too many people and will have to rely on outworking to a decision. That in itself is going to be difficult against good boxers that don't just stand infront of him because his footwork is slow. I'd fancy Linares by decision here, but clearly Linares is not the fighter he was sold to be a few years ago.
